Immunizations

Immunizations protect more than just the individual.  The more people vaccinated in a community, the lower the chance that infections will spread.  If a disease is introduced to a population with low vaccination rates, it will spread and affect more people, causing a greater health problem.  An example is the measles outbreak that spread in Texas and New York.  The incidences occurred in areas with low vaccination rates as the disease quickly spread from person to person.

There is ample evidence proving that vaccines are essential in eliminating disease and improving overall health.  Because of immunizations, smallpox has been eradicated worldwide and measles has become very rare instead of being a disease that almost everyone contracted.  Illnesses such as diphtheria, rubella, whooping cough and polio are no longer widespread threats due to rigorous, extensive immunization.  An example of the effectiveness of vaccines and proof of why they should continue until the disease has been eradicated is the whooping cough (pertussis) outbreak in Japan in the 1970’s.  In 1974, 80% of children received the pertussis vaccination and there were only 393 reported cases and no deaths.  The rates then dropped to 10% vaccinated and there was an outbreak of pertussis with 13,000 cases and 41 deaths.  The disease prevalence dropped again when vaccination rates increased.

There is widespread fear that vaccines cause or increase the risk of conditions such as autism.  These theories have been habitually disproved, providing evidence that immunizations are completely safe. One study was done to examine the correlation between vaccines and multiple sclerosis.  643 patients with relapses in multiple sclerosis were surveyed and 15% had been vaccinated in the previous year and 2.3% had been received vaccinations in the two previous months.  It was concluded that there is no correlation between multiple sclerosis and immunizations.  Many other theories about the correlation between conditions and vaccinations have also been invalidated, proving on a population level that immunizations have more benefits than associated risks.

Good standing health does not only come from a well organized health care system that is affordable and accessible. It is more about the education and foundation of better living conditions that will influence proper health when it comes to immunization. As mentioned before, the common misconception that immunizations lead to autism was founded off of poor education. If we as a community created better understanding for parents about immunizations, it would be more commonly practiced. This is where health professionals put their heads together to create certain interventions to better educate the public.

One of the more effective interventions that have been done is the Oregon state laws that require immunization’s for school enrollment. Many parents may not be against immunizations but just simply not be aware of everything out there, including benefits. The fact that school districts are required to ensure children receive their shots, really creates a positive view of the process. Immunizations create a healthier environment for the community. Acting like it by making school requirement such as this, provides a positive view because we are demonstrating the community really believes this notion.
All 50 states require certain vaccinations for children entering public schools. The interventions and programs started developing but you can see the effectiveness of programs because they have spread country wide. It is hard to dispute the effectiveness of a trend on the rise. Every state has its requirements for immunizations even though no federal law exists. The spread of requirements such as this shows these programs are working.

Public health is about creating healthy communities and providing access to health care and education. It is giving people power. The CDC has a long list of battles they are trying to fight. On this list is the topic of immunization. It is there because it affects everyone in every community and it is a battle that can be won. Through simple education and good community foundation that creates a positive environment for ideas to grow, immunization will become a practice everyone fallows. There will always be a select few out side the norm but, immunizations for children will become the norm and common practice through proper education and implementing requirements such as schools do.

  1. Irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response. If patients are treated early enough, before a lot of immune system damage has occurred, life expectancy is close to normal, as long as they remain on successful treatment. However, when patients stop therapy, virus rebounds to high levels in most patients, sometimes associated with severe illness because i have gone through this and even an increased risk of death. The aim of “cure”is ongoing but i still do believe my government made millions of ARV drugs instead of finding a cure. for ongoing therapy and monitoring. ARV alone cannot cure HIV as among the cells that are infected are very long-living CD4 memory cells and possibly other cells that act as long-term reservoirs. HIV can hide in these cells without being detected by the body’s immune system. Therefore even when ART completely blocks subsequent rounds of infection of cells, reservoirs that have been infected before therapy initiation persist and from these reservoirs HIV rebounds if therapy is stopped. “Cure” could either mean an eradication cure, which means to completely rid the body of reservoir virus or a functional HIV cure, where HIV may remain in reservoir cells but rebound to high levels is prevented after therapy interruption.Dr Itua Herbal Medicine makes me believes there is a hope for people suffering from,Parkinson's disease,Schizophrenia,Lung Cancer,Breast Cancer,Colo-Rectal Cancer,Blood Cancer,Prostate Cancer, siva.Fatal Familial Insomnia Factor V Leiden Mutation ,Epilepsy Dupuytren's disease,Desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor Diabetes ,Coeliac disease,Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease,Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy, Ataxia,Arthritis,Amyotrophic Lateral Scoliosis,Fibromyalgia,Fluoroquinolone Toxicity
